Room?a kind of an expectancy, mingled with dread, but it was in no wise reflected within the Court Room where a few officials, gathered about His Honor's desk, were arranging the case records to follow the order of the day's "court list." The Court Room itself had a quiet, peaceful dignity, simply furnished, and lacking the heavy, somber trappings of former days.
